How to run the PC utility over CAN bus?

I want to monitor the controller using the PC utility. I have RS232 to USB, through which I am able to configure my motorcontroller. I tried using a USB to CAN and connected the CAN lines to the motorcontroller but the PC utility does not detect it.

The can bus is not a serial communication feed. Which can bus protocol are you using?

You will need a can bus interface to gather data.

If you are using Robocan, it is a modified can bus/serial protocol.

I am using RawCAN. So if I am sending data over CAN to the motorcontroller through another master, how can I query it using ?CF in pc utility?
