RIOX utility start up error

7 years 8 months ago - 7 years 8 months ago #29530923 by hbtri7
I have a windows 7 computer which I installed the RIOZ utility on and when I go to start it up I get the attached error. I tried installing the new microsoft .net framework and that didn't help. Oddly I have another PC running windows 7 that has no problem. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?
Thanks
Neil

Interesting as no one else has reported such an error with this utility program. Perhaps try installing Roborun+ utility and see if whatever it writes into the registry might fix the problem. Unfortunately this isn't something that can be easily replicated once our software has been installed on the machines.

The microsoft.net frameworks go all the way back from 2.0 to perhaps 4.0 or 4.5. Make sure that all of them between 2.0 to the latest are installed.

If this does not resolve the problem, try on another pc.

Well, unfortunately I can't tell you which one worked, but I installed roborun and the .net framework 3.5, 4 and 4.5 and that fixed the problem.
Thank you for the advice.

It was very likely the .netframeworks. The Roborun+ also requires all of the.netframeworks to be installed to work correctly.
