MDC2230 update v1.4b - 033115bin : "New firmware message not detected"

MDC2230 firmare installation fails with "New firmware message not detected.". System is running windows 7, controller was delivered with 3.2 firmware but never linked with PC (several PCs). It would initialize go through normal boot steps on its own, rs232 detection, and move to RC mode as expected. Trying to adjust parameters. We are not able to establish a full link with reborn or roborun+. During DFU install fail we lost the Status LED and the USB LED. Retrying installing teh latest BIN file we have gained the USB LED back but it is blinking now instead of being solid waiting for command I think. "Terminate" command script does not produce results. "Starting...." script repeats itself every second - controller seems hung waiting for command due to faulty firmware install. We have no customized scripts running at this time. Please advise this is urgent. Kind regards. A
