how to load setting on Roboteq2160N was created by hardikrshah007
I am just starting to use the Roboteq controller for my project and I am very naive in terms of communication.
I intend to use CAN communication for controlling my motors using the Roboteq 2160N controller.
I hooked up the 15pin connector with pins 6 and 7 to the CAN H &L and connected the pins 2,3 and 5 to the USB . I want to configure the setting on the roboteq using Roboplus utility but it doesnt show the model number and nor does it show setting on it. Please help me to able to atleast load the settings on Roboteq.
Thanks

I got the controller to be detected on Robo Utility but I still cannot run the Roboteq.
Do I need to connect a 120ohm resistance across the CAN H and CAN L for the roboteq to run. I have two arduino with CAN shield connected to the whole system and CAN communication perfectly running on them.

Hello,
Since you already have a CAN network b etween the two arduino there is a 120Ohm connected. If you extend the same network to connect the controller, there is no need for extra resistor.
