SDC2130 serial via FTDI USB<->Serial was created by kab
I'm back using a SDC2130 (v 1.2/2011).
Serial connection is via FTDI (USB<->Serial), and settings are set correctly, pins 2/3/5 are wired correctly, and
- no flow control, 8n1, 115200 bauds,
however, the output tested on two terminals shows garbage: the number of characters seems correct, but the characters each are garbage.
Any help on this matter would be appreciated. Tested this on Windows, Linux... no clue why it doesn't work.
The FTDI usb/serial has been tested at many occasions and works perfectly - this is the best usb/serial interface I ever saw.
Thank you

Hello,
Please first make sure if the FTDI is USB to RS232 converter and not USB to TTL.
Try with roborun, is it working?

Roborun is working via USB, not serial.
Re. the FTDI, please have a look for yourself FTDI RS232RL
If it doesn't fit - is there a way to configure SDC2130 to be TTL? (or the opposite)
