Driver setting does not save permanently. was created by terrytham
Hello there,
Just got 4 new SBL1360 out of the box.
New to this driver.
I've been setting the driver configurations and clicked "Save to Controller" button several times and noticed the progress bar until finish.
I turn off the power of the driver, and turn back on, some settings does not applied to what i've set before.
I have to load from disk which i backed up and load it back, and "Save to Controller" again.
Is there any tricks to set the configuration permanently?
Thanks You
Terry

Hello Terry,
which settings are you referring to? There is nothing more to do than what you do.

Hello Niko,
Tried to changed some setting according to my application.
Changed Digital Input 1 to Inverse Direction, Pulse input 1 to Pulse Width, PWM frequency to 18kHz, No of poles to 8, Amp Limit to 20A, Trigger Amp to 25A,
and save to controller.
After that, i turn off the controller, and turn it back on, noticed some changed i've made does not saved.
is there any ASCI command to save all changes setting into EEPROM?
Thank You!

Since you press the button "Save To Controller" or type the console command "%eesav" the configuration is saved to flash.

That's the problem!
It won't saved!
Otherwise, why would I wasted so much time posting a thread here just for a silly question?

After turning the controller OFF and then back ON did you push "Load from Controller"? If not, what you are seeing is the default profile stored with Roborun, and not the profile that's actually been saved to the controller. Ciao, Lenny
