Help with choosing the correct controller. was created by Brians11GT
I've got an analog multi turn position sensor (10 turns or 0-3600 deg.) for an input device. A 12 vdc motor with a digital optical encoder attached to the motor for feedback. The motor requires 15.6 amp continues current. I will be looking for position control. Can you recommend one of your controllers?
Also, does your configuration utility software come with your controllers?
Thank you,
Brian

try using the product selector. make sure you know type of motor you have, brushed vs. brushless.

yes thank you the motor is a brushed motor. my main concern is whether or not the multi turn input device will be acceptable for your controllers. I am swaying towards the SDC2130S. what are your thoughts?
