XDC2460 mixed mode setup for power chair help please

Hi ,

trying to setup a power chair with mixed mode steering using an analog hall effect joystick .

I can get forward and reverse and steering but only by adding forward or reverse power .
What I need is to be able to move the joystick directly left and right for steering with no forward or reverse input .

I know that the joystick is connected correctly as it shows the input signals delivering power to the left or right motor , yet the motors wont respond ! I have tried all 3 mixed modes with no luck .

Motors are running openloop on 30v lipo batteries .

Dose anyone have any settings or script to run a power chair ?

First, use the pc utility to test and trouble shoot.

Make sure that when moving the first slider, this controls the forward/reverse (ie no steering). If the chair instead rotates, you should then cross the wires of the motor that is going in reverse.

Then, keep the slider 1 at 0 and check that the chair rotates as you move the slider 2

still cant get the wheels to drive forward or reverse in the run tab or any stearing ... Could you please give me a basic setup guide to configure the different settings ?? like which which motor should channel 1 command ? etc
