SDC 2130 USB LED OFF Status LED lights smoothly was created by ahmed_ER
i was using a roboteq sdc2130, and it was running good. Suddenly i lose connection with Roborun, the USB led stop showing activity and the status led lights smoothly.
Sometimes the roboteq show some activity, it begins the connection process with the roborun but it cuts off after 3 or 4 second and show controller has been disconnected.
I attached a photo showing the leds status.

Hello,
Which version/date of firmware is currently on your controller? Have you tried RS232 serial connection? If so does it behave as normal?

Hello,
thank you for your response.
we bought the roboteq last month, so normally the firmware is up to date, and the roboteq was running via the USB,
I will try RS 232 connection and I will be back whether it works or not.
Do have you please a tutorial for building the RS 232 cable?

Please still tell me the firmware version and date so that I can log the error you are reporting and see if any others have been reported as well.
Another question, is the status LED constantly lit or is it flashing?
You can find the RS232 wiring in our user manual in section 12 (page 111).

Yes the status LED is constantly lit.
Strangely the roboteq returned to work normally -_- I have just updated my USB driver on windows 7, I don't Know if this update resolved the problem or not.
I have another issue in another roboteq sdc 2130, I will post it in a separate subject.
