Hi

Sorry if this is a stupid question. I have been given a MDC2230 controller to use. Does the controller need to be externally powered when plugging into a PC or should it start up when connected via USB

Hello Jono,

Yes the controller will need to be powered with at least 12V externally, the controller will not be powered via USB.
