Stuck in EStop and FETs Off condition

I'm using the Roboteq Motor Control Utility to get familiar with the controller. Things work fine, my motor moves back and forth as expected. Seemingly randomly, the PC software reports an EStop condition and the FETs Off. Toggling the Emergency Stop with the Esc key has no effect in reset this, as well as no luck with the controller command to reset the emergency stop either. What makes the utility report the EStop fault, and why does the FETs off stay on? Thanks for your help.

Emergency Stop can also be triggered by the analog or digital inputs of the controller as well as some conditions such as over current etc. Check your controllers configuration to see if you have any IO that is configured to trigger an Emergency Stop or if you have an amps limit trigger. Feel free to send you config file to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. if you'd like us to have a look.
