can communication URGENT!

I have a problem .... I should implement a SICK sensor with the roboteq SDC2130 controller, the problem is the following:

the sick sensor uses a CAN communication, so by connecting the CAN-L and CAN-H pins of the sensor, to those of the controller, I should use CAN to communicate, but what protocol do I use? CanOpen? RawCan? or MiniCan?
moreover you could also describe me the possible modality used, since the CAN protocol is not well explained on the documentation?

Hello Davide, which SICK sensor is this if you don't mind me asking?

I'm using a MLSE magnetic sensor, with the same properties as the roboteq Magsensor, only that I could easily interface it using RoboCan, but with the Can open communication I'm not that expert, so I asked here.
The thing that troubles me most is this: how do I from the controller Roboteq to receive the sensor data? How do I analyze them and how do I turn those data that arrive in commands and then run them in the script?

Hey Davide, you can find our CANOpen documentation in our User Manual. Our recommendation for sensing magnetic tape would be to use one of our Magsensors, which, as you pointed out, can be interfaced through Robocan.

Thank you Isko , but I could not find in the user manual, a good example that shows me how to make a request from a controller and / or a transmission from CanOpen, the only thing I found were the tables of "messages" that could be sent but no example of how to make a request or read one, let alone an example that tells me where to make these requests and how to put them down, example: do I have to do it through a script? and if so how do I structure it? Or do I have to do it in the console? and so how do I structure it? this would be what I'm looking for now

CAN is an industry standard protocol, so we do not provide any resources on how to send or receive CAN messages. You will have to look elsewhere for assistance with CAN. We have designed our Magnetic Sensors to easily connect to our controllers. Doing this will not require prior knowledge of CAN communication.

We provide an EDS file on our files download page.

Hello, Davidetwinp98. How did you solve this problem? I should implement a SICK sensor with the roboteq FBL2360A controller.
