Conducted EMI was created by tom@kawakaviation.com
I'm considering using the SDC2130 in my application but am concerned about conducted EMI. In bench testing, I'm seeing several voltage (p-p) switching noise on the output of my power supply. I'm concerned this noise will cause problems for communication equipment in our vehicle. Is there a recommended circuit to suppress the switching noise conducted through the power supply?

Gabriel,
Do you have any experience using a DC line filter with the controller such as the Radius Power RP610?

Well, I just ordered one. I'll let you know how it works. :-)
The main advantage is the prepackaged form so that I don't have to worry about discrete components.

On the snubber circuit mentioned in the
Roboteq EMC AppNote
is this on the power input or motor output?
Based on this Digikey AppNote , it sounds like it is on the motor output.

Yes, the motor outputs would be an appropriate place for it.
If you think about electrical noise, we aren't too concerned about noise going into our controller power input since our controller can just account for the voltage fluctuations in software. It is the output voltage we are mainly concerned about, or electrical noise on analog signals going into our controller.
