Controller Recommendation?

Hi, this is my first post.
I was hoping for some advice as I'm unsure of which controller to purchase. I thought perhaps this one is most suitable MDC1460.
NB: I plan to convert a scooter from 24v lead acid to 51.2v lifepo4 (3.2v x 16 cells).
The scooter currently has a PGDT 120A S-Drive controller. The settings (in .pdf format) can be downloaded here:

I realise doubling the voltage and rpm may lead to premature failure of the motor but am prepared to take that risk.

You will have to post what kind of motor the scooter uses, since it is unclear. The MDC1460 is only capable of driving brushed DC motors.

I would not recommend going above the motor manufacturers rated voltage. If you do, you are effectively doubling the current that the motor will draw at stall, so you will have to size the controllers accordingly. This makes what you are trying to do potentially very dangerous. You should consider replacing the motor in the scooter if you plan on moving to a higher voltage.

Hey, Just a follow up, I am having a lot of trouble with this because the website doesn't really give any number for checking on the current draw. On the motor it says 42A, but that will increase if you increase the voltage you are running at. I would not recommend pushing the motor past it's rated voltage for extended periods of time. Even if the controller can handle the current draw, this can cause damage to the motor.

Thank you for your reply. I will follow your advice and NOT run the motor above it's rated voltage. I will still convert the mobility scooter from lead acid batteries to lifepo4, but I will keep the battery voltage at 24V.
