Hi I am having HDC2460 Motor Controller Problems.
I have hooked up the HDC2460 as shown in the wiring diagram and am controlling it with an RC radio.
Every time I move the RC radio stick to the forward position, the motor controller stalls or staggers, and then I lose control. One channel seems fine, the other channel will move the motors one way, but not the other.
I have tried many different HDC2460's and many different wiring configurations including 24V, 36 Volt, different radios, updating the firmware, using Roborun +, different motors, etc.
Has anyone had this problem? is there a known or unknown bug?
Please advise.

Some things to try ...
What happens if you try to control the motors with the sliders in Roborun (with your RC disabled)? If the motors work correctly from Roborun, then there's a problem in your RC device or in your configuration of the HDC to use it. It the motors have the same problem using the sliders, there's something wrong in your wiring (or, less likely, the motors themselves).
Do the motors have electromagnetic brakes? If so, is one of them stuck or lacking power to release it? Are there mechanical brake release levers? Those often have an interlock microswitch to keep the motors from turning if the brakes are mechanically released.

good morning
I am facing the same issue with a HDC 2460 2x150A
Every time I move the RC radio stick to the forward position, the motor controller displays short in RoboRun, and then I lose control. One channel seems fine, the other channel will move the motors one way, but not the other
did you find a resolution ????????????
I have confirmed with a working controller my connections and motor function.
all settings are mirrored of a working controller
firmware v1.8d
Controller that is faulty
