Firmware downgrade issue SBL2360T was created by skelmir
I received a SBL2360T running firmware v2.01. Exported my settings from my older SBL2360 running firmware v1.8d and imported them into the newer SBL2360T. The motor channels seem to be linked in the newer SBL2360T. So if I use the RoboRun sliders in the Run tab for one channel both channels respond. If I issue "!S 1 400" and "!S 2 -400" then motor one runs and motor two stands still. This is different from my older controller. So I wanted to see if it was a firmware version issue and used the DFU uploader to install the v1.8d firmware on the SBL2360T:
www.roboteq.com/docman-list/motor-contro...2360-firmware-1/file
But now the SBL2360T doesn't respond anymore, so I'm guessing the firmware update was not successful. Is there any recovery mode or alternative firmware upload (not USB)?

Hi Skelmir,
when you move from v1.8d to v2.01 it is recommended that you do not import the profile but you do from the beginning. I recommend you reset to defaults and then do the setup manually.
Then please perform a motor sensor setup if you are running sinusoidal mode.
Also keep in mind that you need a new PID tuning.
Let me know if you still face problems with the second channel.

Thank you for your response. I did have a second SBL2360T and did the manual setup on that one. The issue is turns out to be that the v2 firmware does channel mixing for serial commands now when running in Closed Loop Speed Position mode and the v1.8 firmware did not. I disabled the mixing in my own driver code when running on v2 firmware and everything works as expected.
I still have a dead SBL2360T from the failed firmware downgrade to v1.8. Is there any possibility of restoring it to the v2 firmware?

You can minimize. I think the easyest way is utilizing the Automation instrument
You put your gadget on the system, set Automation device to check, select the Upgrade firmware tab. From here you can get a connection until the firmware page, select the more established adaptation, download it and you ought to have the option to downsize.

The SBL2360T no longer shows up as a serial port. If I plug in the SBL2360 that shows up as a serial port. The SBL2360T LED lights are top light is blinking green. Middle light is solid green. Bottom LED is solid orange. Any options?
