089LDA15XROB Kit Brake help

I purchased a 089LDA15XROB drive kit. This kit comes with a brake on the drive motors. On the motor spec sheet, the only electrical information about the brake is that the coil is 24V & 15W. Do I need to install a flyback diode in line with the motor here or is this a component in the brake assembly?
