Potentiometer signal nose filters

4 months 16 hours ago #29535598 by wstuck

I have used several devices that have a potentiometer as the feedback sensor. The problem seems to be that the signal from the potentiometer can have noise from other devices and cause some jerhkyness in the system. If I use electronic sensors the signals are very clean and have little to no jerhkyness.

What do you recommend as a filter when using a 10k potentiometer with the controller’s 5VDC as a feedback or motor control input?

Thanks for your help,
