GBL2660ES compatibility with Dynapar incremental, optical encoder

Hello All
I am trying to find out if our GBL2660ES motor controller is compatible with the current encoder we are using.  The encoder data sheet is linked below. 

The Roboteq Controller Users Manual v2.1.a suggests that this is possible, and the GBLL26xx data sheet suggests that as well.  However, the data sheet does not offer a wiring diagram and only shows one for an absolute encoder with SSI.

We are wondering if these two products are compatible and what the wiring diagram might look like.  Thanks in advance for anyone willing to answer this!
