Firmware update for the AX2500 was created by Explorer3

Hello.

Could I update my old AX2500 with the current "version 1.5a, May 22, 2004" firmware from the ROBOTEQ website or it won't work? It's now clear and I don't want to fall in a dead end...

If it does not work, where could I get the latest firmware version for it?

I bought the controller from e-Bay from a guy who never even tried it since he has it so it's a old version.

When I query the controller for the current, it is always giving me back ZERO for the measure... I am curious to see if the new firmware solves that...

The latest software revision that will work on the AX2500 is v1.3. It may be downloaded at www.roboteq.com/download/robosetup13.zip

Regarding the Amps reading, the sensors are there to measure high current (to over 120A). It is possible that the controller will report 0 if you have only a few amps flowing (1 to 3). Accuracy improves at higher currents.
