I'm joining a school project, and we've got a robot using the AX2500. Of course, it drives in a big arc. I'm pretty sure the KIT-ENC1 (optical encoder add-on for the AX2550) would do the trick, if it works for the AX2500 also. Does it? I had some trouble finding out the differences between the AX2500 and AX2550 on the website.
Our budget is basically zip, so it looks like we can either buy the KIT-ENC1 (assuming it would work with our AX2500), or design the optical feedback circuitry ourselves. All input is greatly appreciated.
