that is 08/03/11 of roborun and 8/24/11 on the firmware.
I see that there is a new firmware available. Should I upgrade?

I have tried to bind the spectrum using the method you describe. Unfortunately it causes the SDC2130 to loose communication with the computer. I have been unable to bind using this method.

In addition I see now way to inhibit the motors from moving when the Spectrum radio is enabled and now way to read the data if the spectrum radio is disabled.

YOu can prevent the motors to respond to the spektrum radio by going in Command Priorities and changing the Spektrun to None in the config menu

It is strange that the controller would quit.

Does it crash when after you send the %bind command or when you plug the receiver?

Ok I got it to pair.

My next question is how to get the spectrum radio data without making the motors active.

Ir I set a channel then it moves the motor with that channel. If I don\'t set a channel I can not read any data.

I assigned both motors to ch 6 and then Nothing moves and I can still read the numbers.

Is there a flag or something that can tell me when the spectrum radio is on?

Enable the radio in the spektrum menu but remove it from the command priority list
