JSN-SR04T ultrasonic sensor and Riox1216AH was created by shirofizz
Hi,
I would like to know how to connect JSN-SR04T to my Riox1216AH extender and how to code the ultrasonic sensor to get the distance.
Regards,
Shirofizz

Hi,
Were you able to get this working? I'm having difficulty getting the RIOX 1216AH to measure pulse width. I'm concerned that it might need an ongoing train of pulses, like you'd get from an RC source. The controller user manual has this troubling entry:
Where:
cc = Pulse input number
nn =
0: Disabled
1: Pulse width
2: Frequency
3: Duty cycle
4: Magsensor
5: BMS
6: Pulse Count
7: Flow Sensor
Example:
^PMOD 4 4 : Sets Pulse input 4 in Multi-PWM for Robteq’s MGS1600 magnetic guide
sensor
Note:
Pulse width is designed for capturing RC radio commands. Pulse width must be beween
500us and 3000us, and repeat rate 50Hz or higher
On some products, enabling a pulse input will cause a an offset voltage to be present
when that same input is read as analog
On the other hand, the device is supposed to be able to measure pulse width over a "large range", and the datasheet for the RIOX specifically mentions using the pulse width mode for ultrasonic sensors. If it can be done, it would be great to see an example..
Thanks,
Tal
