current limit per channel was created by lhendersin
It is not clear whether the current limit is per channel or per controller.
If I set the limit to 30A, can both motors draw 30A simultaneously?
Thanks,
Leo

You did not specify your controller model but yes, the amps limit is for each channel and that amount of current can be drawn simultaneously on both.

Thanks for the reply.
The controller in question is the 2550.
Please add that clarification to your manual/quick start guide.
A future enhancement would be individual channel controls. If a user wanted channel 1 in position mode and channel 2 in speed mode, then perhaps the design would also want different current limits for channel 1 and channel 2.
Also, while my mind is running open loop, I would request an option with terminal studs instead of wires. This would allow us to install wire guages and lengths appropriate to our application.

LH
