RC Control issue with AX2550

RC Control issue with AX2550 was created by DtotheJ
I'm using an AX2550 to differential drive a wheelbot. Everything should be wired right because it performs perfectly when hooked up to the Robo-run software.

The problem I'm having is when hooked to the RC receiver, it doesn't respond well, and will "take off" and do random things on its own :0

The RC gear is a JR Racing XR3i. I'm a bit of a newb at all of this, so it might be something simple.

Note: The first time I wired it all up (real sloppy) it seemed to respond pretty decent. Then I made the wiring pretty, and it has a mind of its own.

Note2: The RC radio will operate the servo's that came with it as expected, and without a problem.

Any help would be GREAT!! Thanks.

This sounds like a case of the radio outputing a noisy signal. Try working on the wiring, radio position, antena position to see if the problem is reduced or eliminated.
