Changing Joystick Function on RC Controller for AX3500

Hi,

I have been reading the manual to find a way to make the joystick on the left side (Rudder)use up and down to increase / decrease speed of the left side motor instead of side to side action. I have been trying to find the command for the \"built-in Switches and Display\" (buttons on the board). I would guess it is a simple fix for someone who may have experience with RC and/or the AX3500. I am using a Futaba Skysport 4 to pilot a catamaran with a motor on each side. The right side accelerates by pushing forward and I want the left to do the same but, it goes from left to right. Any suggestions on how to switch this action so that both joysticks operate the same way?

I figured it out finally. I just changed the input channels from the receiver to pick up the correct channel from the RC control. It was reading L & R Channel which is channel 1 from the receiver to the serial port via the 3prong plug/cable #1. I just had to place the cable in the 2 channel slot to receive the pulse from the up and down on the left joystick. Pretty simple, wow!
