Turn rates, different reversing and forward speeds

I am about to push the buy now button on a HDC2450H for use in a power wheelchair at 36v and with about 17mph motors. Stock powerchair controllers have masses of program ability and easy set up of turn rates and revers speed etc. And ramp up times, amps, stall currents etc. But no power and cant do 36 volts.

Will I be able to do all of this easily without needing to become a computer programmer as scripts leave me baffled. Tank steer.

This will be with an analog joystick obviously.

the controller has 3 tank steer modes. In addition, you can select 3 exp and 3 log corrections on the joystick commands (ie make the steering more or less sensitive at the beginning than at the end).

Reverse max speed can be made slower than forward. There is a good chance that you will find a good control setup using the configurations alone.

OK I ordered online. I need to be sure, I am ordering an analogue contactless joystick - I want 0 to 5v I think.

Is this correct?
