HDC2450 with NPC T64 was created by antiwong
Hi,
I recently purchased a HDC2450 and 2 T64 motors. I have connected my HDC2450 to a 48VDC regulated voltage supply and i did configure the unit with the RoboRun+ program.
I did not change anything except for the following
1) Over Voltage Limit =24V
2) Amps Limit = 90A
3) PWM freq = 18kHz.
I am using open loop speed control.
I used the slider on the run tab in the program to move the motors but nothing is happening. Is there something i have set wrongly?
Please Help.
Anthony

Wiring is ok? Is roborun detecting your HDC2450?

If you set the overvoltage limit to 24V and apply 48V to the controller, it will go in Overvoltage and not run. You should see the OverVolt LED on in the run screen, however.

Thanks everyone. Yes the problem was the over voltage. I set it to 50V and PWM ratio to 50%.
Is that right for this 24VDC motor? the input voltage is 48VDC.

If you want to keep the motor within its published voltage range, just put 50% in the Max Power Adjust configuration. This will effectively halve the max voltage the motor will be subjected to.
