AX1500 Oversteering

I am using an ax1500 with two 24vdc motors in the mixed mode (tank style)and using the analog input with two 5K pots. The speed pot is working fine, but the direction pot is over sensitive and creating an oversteering problem. Is there a way to reduce the sensitivity of the second input or scale? I have tried to change the input mode to exponential strong but it didn\'t make much difference.

You can play with the exponent adjustment on the steering pot.

You can also limit the voltage swing that the controller sees as you move the joystick side to side by adding one resistor at each side of the pot (one to gnd, one to +5V). A 1k resistor on each side will limit the steering by 10% on each site
