chaining commands

Hi!

I\'m using a SDC2150 to run a motor at different speeds while in closed loop count relative mode.

I\'m trying to make a program in VB6 to chain commands to the motor. In view of this I\'m using a timer to time the motions. However, it is not moving smoothly. There seems to be a chop in every command I send. Is there a way for me to make it move smoothly.
