External inductance for brushless motor controllers?

I have utilized AX500 for the small robotic platform. Very good! I have a question: - For the brushless motor controllers is necessary an external inductance (example, BL1500) ? What is optimum inductance for the mosfets (the brushless motors have a very small inductance) ?

The PWM switching is at 16khz. The controller will work with practically any motor.
The controller does not require an external inductance to be added.
Please note that the smaller inductance typical of the brushless motors will cause the motor current to have more ripple. The higher inductance in a brushed motor does a good job in smoothing the current.
More ripple means higher content of radiated noise.
This means that an external inductance may be necessary if the complete system is not satisfactory from the point of view of RF interference.
