Controlling AX2500 with r/c was created by Anonymous
I have an eight channel airplane radio control system. I would like to know if I can use two of the two channels to control the AX2500. I noticed that there are two connectors on the r/c adapter cable. I need to go forward left right and reverse. I am assuming the controller interprets the signals from the r/c and directs power to the corresponding motors. I am using two DC motors rated between 80 to 120 amps.

The controller will respond to standard radio commands (pwm 1 to 2 millisec 50 Hertz). Just make sure that the radio is FM or PCM (AM radio works but the quality is poor) and choose the channels which have full excursion from 1 to 2 millisec. Some channels are meant for ON-OFF switches and only provide the two extreme values.
