Controlling AX1500 by a potentiometer

Controlling AX1500 by a potentiometer was created by Anonymous
I would like to know if the AX1500 controller can be controlled by a potentiometer. I would like to install it in a small floor sweeper that was equipped with a curtis controller that is no longer available (model 15004334).

The AX1500 can be controlled by a potentiometer (as well as by Radio, PWM or RS232 computer port).
