Power supply for AX500

I have one of your AX500 motion controllers. I know that it is capable of providing 15 amps through each channel. What does that mean as far as the power supply's amperage. Does that mean the power supply should be capable of providing 30 amps to the controller? Or 15 amps to the controller? I am not going to hook up a 4volt 31 amp power supply up to this controller unless I know it can handle it.

If you use both channels and each channel drives a motor with 15 Amp peak then the power supply has to be capable of 30 Amp peak.
