Mecanum wheels control with roboteq controller

Just ordered MDC 2250 to evaluate your product. My project is Mobile platform with Mecanum wheels configured as 4 WD requires 4 Chanel\'s to operate each wheel in different speed and direction. Is it possible to control this configuration with roboteq controllers family from one PC ( assuming 2 controllers required) or is it possible to interconnect 2 controllers to operate from one instance of roboteq software ? Are there plans for 4 or more Chanel controllers? Thank you.

You will need two USB or two COM ports on your PC. One for each controller.

You should be able to run two instances of Roborun.

Connect teh first controller and run the first instance of the software

Then connect the second controller and run the second instance.

The plan was to add an incremental encoder to the motor shaft or at some point in the gearbox but upon further consideration a sensored motor would likely be more than accurate enough.
