LBL 1350 Problem with RC Input was created by mikebikerad
Hi,
My LBL 1350 controllers are running my small brush less motors perfectly smooth but I am having the following issues.
- Motors run forwards/backwards on the PC utility but only forwards on RC remote.
- When using the RC remote, I apply quarter/half throttle and nothing happens until applying full throttle and the motor slowly revs up to full speed.
What setting should I change? I have tried everything I can think of! I would like the RC remote to work just like on an RC car.... with pushing away applying regenerative braking/pulling in applying throttle
Thanks

Look at the pulse input box in the Run tab. You should see the measured width of the pulse. It should be a steady number around 1500 (microseconds) when the joystick is centered. The number will change down to around 1000 and up to 2000 as you move the joystick.
If you get a jumpy number then look into the wiring to the radio.

to connect the PC while the radio is connected, you will need to bring pins 2 3 and 5 of the controller to the pins 2 3 and 5 of the PC com port or USB-serial adapter.

Ok
I now am using the PC and RC remote together.
The pulse light does not show up from 0-500 and then all of a sudden at 500 it kicks on, providing adequate forward control up to 757. 757 is max that it sees. This is with the RC remote. With PC I have full forward/back motion.
Still no reverse recognition, when applying reverse/braking throttle on rc controller.
Thanks for the help...these controllers rock!

These values are not in the expected range. There was an issue with pulse capture in earlier version of the firmware.

Hi,
I have newest version of firmware v1.2 07/27/2012 so that shouldn\'t be the problem. I am still seeing same issue after playing with it a lot.
Thanks
