Serial Comm- Motor Power Values

With the hdc2450, what serial command do I use to change the amperage limit on the motor? Also, for regeneration?

I have looked through the manual a few times and have not found the correct function.

the command is ^alim nn mm, where nn is the channel number (1 or 2) and mm the amps limit in amps *10 (eg 1000 = 100.0A)

Regeneration current is not limited.

Thanks. Would it be safe to assume then that the maximum current I will see under braking is equivalent to the stall torque of the motor?

Also, how would I design a shunt load system for over voltage if I am using a 32v motor at 250 amps.

I know that gives me a resistance of .128 ohm, but how do I size a correct resistor system?

Thanks
