newby question: USB Connection

Hi everyone,

I just received my RBT-SBL1360 RoboteQ SBL1360C and directly plugged it into my Laptop via USB (after installing Roborun +). But nothing happens. I mean the Controller does not trigger any reaction from my laptop. Do I first have to connect the controller to the power source? The manual says that I only Need to plug in the USB and the driver will install. I\'m sorry if that is a stupid question, I am kind of new to this.

Yes. Plug the usb into the controller and pc. You can either power up the controller via VMOT and GND, or power ctrl and gnd.

Recommend 12V source.

Once connected, the laptop will begin to install the drivers for the controller and once all is done, the pc should recognize the controller when connected.
