Getting the maximum power was created by infoa
Hi,
I tested a motor connecting 24 volts directly . The motor has 120W, and his accelerate very quickly.
I'm using a SDC2130 controller for this motor, I changed all values in open loop, acceleration 50.000, mrp 1000... etc. But I can´t get the same acceleration that I obtain with a direct connect.
Can I get the same accelerate usign the controller SDC2130 ?
Thanks

If you change the accel and decel rate values to max 50,000 each, then the response time is the fastest. In the run tab, move the slider all the way to the right or left. Leave controller in open loop mode. Make sure to save any new changes to controller. The pwm signal is 100% (command +1000 or -1000). Does the speed of the motor appear the same?

The final velocity is the same, but the response time is greater when I use the controller. Acceleration using the direct connect is higther than if I use the controller.
I have set the acceleration to 50000 and I have send the command 1000, but the direct connect is better....Can I accelerate faster using the controller ?

If the settings are configured to the max, then most likely not. Let me take a look a little more into this.

Not sure what the current firmware is installed on your controller is. So do the following.
Go to the Console tab of Roborun+ and in one of the Out data boxes, type in ?fid and then click send. What you'll need to look at is in the bottom of the In data, is the firmware date that is reported back.
The current release right now is 052513.
