Hydraulic servo valve question was created by Jds53
Has anyone used these motor controllers to run a hydraulic servo valve? The valves I'm wanting to run take a command of +-10v I'm assuming you can set max voltage out with these controllers. Maybe the SDC1130. This seems like a great way to run a cylinder with a remote control. Especially if I could run it in a closed loop position control system. Any input on this would be great.
Thanks

The controllers will control the direction of the motor internally. If you are using a remote control, then it will run a pwm input. The range values are in uS. You will need to use 0 to +5V input.

For your input battery supply, use 12V, and then set your max power forward and reverse to around 83% or less to get the 10V drive. If you measure across the motor channel leads + and -, you will see the voltage as you give it a command.
