Hi,
Looking for 1.4a firmware for the LDC2230.
Our project utilizes LDC2230 controllers each driving 2 servos to automate large searchlights. We’re experiencing significant A-to-D chatter using the analog inputs for servo feedback, and some other inconsistencies with PID endpoints. This has been an issue since our initial build (7/2013).
We’re looking into this again as we now need more accurate and stable positioning. Before we start trying to debug, we wanted to make sure we were running current firmware.
Thanks
\Neal

We have discontinued this product a long time back and since then we have not validated for a new release. The 10/10/13 firmware was the last stable release for this controller.

LDC2230 was current as of 12/2013, would expect firmware support to continue for at least a year!

There has not been any changes to the PID parameters of the closed loop systems, so even if there was a new firmware update to the latest, it would not be affected. If you are using analog feedback for your system, you maybe having some noise issues. You can reduce that by adding a small capacitor on the ground and the analog input.
1uF, 16V should be fine.
