How do I set a limit value in closed loop with motor command or feedback signal value limits

Setup Info:
SDC2130 controller
Closed Loop Position Tracking
Analog Input Motor Position - Range Min,500(.5V) - Mid,2500(2.5V) - Max,4500(4.5V)
Analog Input Feedback - Range Min,500(.5V) - Mid,2500(2.5V) - Max,4500(4.5V)

The total actuator movement is 2 inches between .5V and 4.5V. I want to limit the movement to 1.25 inches or about 3.0V on the feedback input.

I have tried to limit it by changing the range settings but it is not giving me the desired results. I do not want any moment after the 3.0V level is met on the feedback sensor.

Any Suggestions?

Try putting an action on the min and max. Forward and reverse limit switches.
