Stop script change motor 1 operation mode to Open Loop was created by edmodi
Hi, I update my SDC2130 with last firmware version (v.1.5, October 02, 2015). My script change the operation mode to Close Speed Loop and when I stop the script the operation mode change to Open Loop. I dont know why this behavoir happends when in other firmware version did not happend. Can anyone help me?

Hi,
For safety reasons, any change in motor mode via script is taken back when the script stops. I assume you use an older version, since thisfeature was added from version 1.4a.
Additionally, there is a bug that we found lately (after releasing 1.5). If the motor mode is configured before starting the script, after stoping the script the motor mode returns to the configured value when in startup. This has been fixed.
As workaround to above mentioned bug you can configure the motor mode accordingly, restart then controller and then work on the script.
Otherwise we can send you a new firmware with the bug fixed.
