What is common way to read real-time amps with a digital ammeter(other than using an external hall sensor on phase or batt wires)? Need to read the amps in real time.
When I have my laptop connected to the controller, I can read Battery Amps in real time as the load varies, etc. What's a good way to do this without the laptop and using a digital (or analog) amp meter? Or maybe use some other stand-alone, non-PC "reader"?

Concerning the amps reading from the Roboteq controller, this data can be extracted using either one of the CAN protocols or via USB or via serial.
If you have an extra device with a display (where you want the amps to be displayed) make sure you can connect it with the Roboteq controller with the above mentioned methods.
