Changing the motor direction for an AGV

7 years 5 months ago #29531528 by Hasini
Hi
I am using FBL2360 motor controller with two brushless DC motors to create an AGV .The driving mechanism is differential drive. How ever in
my motor arrangement the rotation direction of one motor should be altered to be compatible with the mixmode 1 configuration with the robotq magnetic sensor( otherwise the robot rotates in a single axis) .Is there any way to alter the default forward direction of a single motor .( I am using the code provided with the Building a magnetic guided AGV in your website)

Hello,

This an issue that we are working on. As a workaround use the steering as throttle and the throttle as steering. Additionally try also if the other mixing modes are more effective.

Hello,

If the above mentioned wokaround is not working for you, we have already implemented a Direction configuration in our firmware and is going to be available in next release.
