Connect 1 (or 2) switch(es) to the SDC was created by kab
Hello,
I'd like to connect one (if possible two) switches to the SDC2130 that can be read from the program
Where should I connect the switch(es)?
What command to query the status of the switch(es)? (polling)
Thank you
I'd like to connect one (if possible two) switches to the SDC2130 that can be read from the program
- • Simple ON OFF switches handled externally/manually
- • Status has to be read from the program (written in C++ if that matters)
- • Tentative query commands would be ?AI, ?DI, ?FS, ?PI in my opinion, but please let me know what the SDC2130 is capable of
- • Ideally, the change of status of a switch would trigger an interruption in the program - but reading the doc it doesn't seem possible
Where should I connect the switch(es)?
What command to query the status of the switch(es)? (polling)
Thank you

You can just connect them to the available digital inputs and read their status with command ?DI (_DI)
