SBL1360 goes into STALL detection after firmware update

SBL1360 goes into STALL detection after firmware update was created by Herman
I replaced a SBL1360 controller (had strange behaviour, will contact support) to a new one and updated the firmware to v1.5.
After the update the controller goes into stall condition.
I re-installed the old firmware (v1.4b) and the controller runs ok.
I use the controller in closed-loop speed mode with a quadrature encoder.
Can you help me?

Hello,
we can assume that the encoder stall detection is causing that, since it is a new feature. We are not aware of your setup in order to tell for sure. If you disable the stall detection it will be ok.

I have the stall detection disabled but the fault exists (Status flag FS=17, Stall detection BLSTD=0)
You asked for the configuration:
Encoder: industrial optical encoder AVAGO HEDS-9040#B00
Firmware ID: Roboteq v1.5 SBL1XXX 10/01/2015
Operating mode: Closed Loop Speed
I did some debugging with Roborun+ (latest version)
- if I enable stall detection (+save2C) and then disable stall detection (+save2C) the controller will run, but if I recycle the power the controller goes into stall condition again (read stall detection BLSTD=0)

Hello Herman,
This seems to be a firmware issue. In order to have more clues:

In open loop there is no fault.
I will send the configuration files to techsupport

Was anything found out about this issue? I seem to be seeing the exact same issue on an HDC2450 running brushed motors in closed loop?
