I have a 4 wheel bot using skid steering. Each wheel has a motor and encoder so I am using two controllers. However doesn't look like you can use them as master and slave without having the can bus model. Is this correct? I planned on using one controller for each side m1 controlling the front wheel and m2 the rear. I suppose I could split the commands coming off my software but I'd rather them be in a master slave configuration. I have sdc2160 controllers. Haven't hooked them up yet so I want to find out about this before I do.

Hello,
SDC2160 do support CAN, so you can make a setup like the one shown here.
