XDC2460 Mixing issue

Hi, I have an XDC2460, its set to mixing mode 2 on tank style steering. I find that when I turn one way, one of the motor whines but does not turn the wheel (I can see it trying). It feels like the controller is limiting the current to the motor, turning the other way, there are no issues. What could be causing this?

After more testing, its clear that one channel is limiting the current available to the motor. Both channels have been set up identically on the software, what could be causing this?

Hi, I have done as you suggested and have monitored the motor amps of both channels. At full throttle the motor power in both channels is 1000. Same when mixed mode was disabled. Is the controller ok and the problem elsewhere?

I suggest that you swap the connections of the motors. Does the fault follow the motor? If so, that's where the problem lies. Does the fault follow the connections? Then the problem lies somewhere in the controller. Ciao, Lenny
