SBL2360 does not indicate RC Pulse Status

I have a configuration/script that has been running erratically. The intent is to input a RC Speed and Direction signal and using the script to drive two BLDC motors independently. The SBL2360 detects the RC signal (red status LED ON) only when the RC input is configured to Motor Command. But then the motor is driven directly. The program use to work when the Input Use was set to feedback, but does not now!

7/26/17 update: The above mentioned SBL2360 works alongside a SBL1360. The SBL1360 indicates the reception of a RC signal by a double blink of the Status LED when the RC transmitter is turned ON. The Status LED returns to one blink when the RC transmitter is turned OFF. It is working properly. The SBL2360 Status LED may or may not blink twice when the RC transmitter is turned ON. But once the Status LED does indicate a RC pulse, the Status LED does not go to one blink when the RC transmitter is turned OFF, until the power to the controller is turned OFF. Is this normal? The bottom line is that the program was running fine, but now is very erratic!
